How Moat Homes compares
From the Tenant Satisfaction Measures Moat Homes reported to the Regulator of Social Housing for April 2024 to March 2025. "Most landlords" is the median across all landlords in England.
In Moat Homes's latest tenant survey, 64% of tenants who'd had a repair were satisfied with the repairs service, so around 4 in 10 were not. That's worse than most landlords.
68% said Moat Homes provides a home that is well maintained (worse than most landlords).
Moat Homes reported that none of its homes failed the Decent Homes Standard at the end of the year. That's a landlord's own assessment, and it doesn't mean every home is free of problems.
It completed 41% of non-emergency repairs within its own target of 21 days, and 97% of emergency repairs on time.
Tenants made 156 formal complaints for every 1,000 homes, compared with 54 at most landlords, and only 39% of tenants who complained were satisfied with how it was handled.
